About The Position

The Sales Consultant at Coggin Hyundai DeLand helps redefine the car-buying experience by developing customer relationships and providing exceptional guest experiences. The role responds to online vehicle inquiries by phone and email, assists customers who visit the dealership, and guides customers through the buying process from initial contact to final sale. The position uses the Asbury selling process, follows up with customers to support repeat business, and works to build a referral network.

Requirements

• Motivation to succeed.

• Ability to create and maintain customer relationships.
• Strong computer and phone skills.
• Experience utilizing and maintaining a customer relations management database.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Prior automotive sales or retail experience, customer service, call center, or business development experience.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Contact and communicate with customers to identify their needs using the Asbury selling process.
• Build rapport with customers and develop a base of referrals and a customer network.
• Respond to internet leads within the store's required time and email product information with pricing.
• Answer sales phone calls and set customer appointments.
• Confirm appointments.
• Make outbound calls to follow up with customers on inquiries, after sales, and for repeat business.
• Conduct test drives and vehicle walk-arounds with customers.
• Work with customers throughout the buying process, from start to finish.
• Maintain professional business attire and appearance.
