About The Position

Coggin Hyundai DeLand, part of Asbury Automotive Group, is seeking a Sales Consultant to help redefine the car-buying experience and provide exceptional guest experiences. The role responds to customers who inquire about advertised vehicles online by phone and email, as well as customers who visit the dealership. The Sales Consultant guides customers through the buying process from initial contact through the final sale, using the Asbury selling process and building lasting customer relationships. The position is based at a brand-new, state-of-the-art store with a positive culture and team-focused environment.

Requirements

• Motivation to succeed.

• Ability to create and maintain customer relationships.
• Strong computer and phone skills.
• Experience utilizing and maintaining a customer relations management database.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.

• Prior automotive sales or retail experience, customer service, call center, or business development experience.
• Bilingual ability.
• Self-motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Contact and communicate with customers to identify their needs using the Asbury selling process.
• Build rapport with customers and develop a referral network.
• Respond to internet leads within the store's required time and email product information with pricing.
• Answer sales phone calls and set customer appointments.
• Confirm appointments.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on inquiries, after sales, and repeat business.
• Conduct test drives and vehicle walk-arounds with customers.
• Work with customers throughout the buying process, from start to finish.
• Maintain a professional business attire and appearance.
