About The Position
Mattress Warehouse is seeking motivated Retail Sales Consultants to provide exceptional customer service and sell premium mattress and bedding products. Consultants use the company’s established selling process and bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, which takes 18 measurements and provides personalized recommendations to help customers find suitable sleep solutions. The role focuses on creating a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience and helping customers improve their sleep. The position is part of a team-oriented retail environment at a family-owned and operated company with more than 520 store locations. Associates receive paid training, continuous feedback, access to a learning library, and opportunities for growth. The role uses tablets, mobile point-of-sale systems, and the bedMATCH system. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Requirements
- A winning, team-oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and understanding their needs.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends.
- Ability to work a typical four- to five-day week, with workweeks ranging from 40 to 55 hours.

- Equal fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish, or other languages.
Responsibilities
- Sell premium mattress and bedding products using the company’s selling process and bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system.
- Help customers understand their needs and select personalized sleep solutions.
- Provide a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience.
- Reset the showroom floor.
- Assist customers with loading mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
