About The Position

Holman is seeking a Sales Consultant to join the Leith Volkswagen of Raleigh team. The role oversees vehicle sales and related paperwork, helps customers identify vehicles that meet their needs, explains and demonstrates vehicle features, and supports customers through pricing, trade-in, paperwork, and delivery. The Sales Consultant works with Sales Managers and F&I, helps resolve customer concerns, and attends required training and department meetings.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Previous sales experience.
College degree.

Responsibilities

Oversee vehicle sales and associated paperwork.
Greet customers on the sales floor and assess their needs, including desired vehicle make, type, and features.
Explain vehicle features and benefits and demonstrate vehicle operation in the showroom or on the road.
Research model and optional-equipment availability using a computer database.
Work with Sales Managers and F&I to negotiate sales prices and lease payments, including taxes, trade-in allowances, license fees, discounts, and rebates.
Walk the lot and visually inspect inventory.
Complete paperwork and arrange vehicle detailing and delivery.
Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their operation.
Maximize the customer experience.
Assist the Sales Manager with customer problems.
Attend and complete required training and department meetings.
