Sales Commission Stylist, Full Time - Century City
About The Position
A Bloomingdale’s Stylist guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy. The role calls for gracious service, an interest in fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge to build and maintain long-term client relationships both in store and online. Stylists create welcoming, engaging customer connections, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, explain Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence through the fulfillment system, merchandise-to-sell standards, and upkeep of the sales floor and fitting rooms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Passion for gracious service, interest in fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge proficiency.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; may need to reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; color vision is required.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
- Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Create an appointment-based client experience.
- Deliver an easy, seamless, and fun in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
- Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and becoming proficient with technology.
- Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
- Schedule appointments, determine customer needs, share the benefits of Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish.
- Use the fulfillment system, follow merchandise-to-sell standards, and maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms.
