About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Stylist guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy. With gracious service, an interest in fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge, the Stylist builds long-term client relationships both in store and online. Stylists create a welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive experience through conversation and personal connection. The role includes scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, explaining Loyalty programs, and supporting the shopping experience from start to finish. Stylists also contribute to operational excellence by using fulfillment systems and meeting merchandise-to-sell, floor, and fitting-room upkeep standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
