Sales Commission Stylist, Full Time - Aventura
About The Position
A Bloomingdale’s Stylist guides and inspires customers to make style a source of creative energy. Using gracious service, an interest in fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge, the Stylist develops long-term client relationships in store and online. The role delivers a welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive customer experience, creating personal connections through conversation. Stylists schedule appointments, determine customer needs, share information about Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also maintain operational excellence through the fulfillment system, merchandise-to-sell standards, and upkeep of the sales floor and fitting rooms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourceful, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods; perform reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping; and meet color-vision demands.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
- Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Create an appointment-based client experience.
- Deliver an easy, seamless, and fun in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
- Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and using technology proficiently.
- Participate in merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
- Schedule appointments, determine customer needs, share the benefits of Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish.
- Use the fulfillment system and maintain merchandise-to-sell standards, sales-floor upkeep, and fitting-room upkeep.
