About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Original Penguin merchandise by executing the brand’s customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers, helping them find products or learn how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. Associates contribute to sales, build customer loyalty, maintain product and promotion knowledge, and help keep the store stocked and visually maintained. This is a seasonal, part-time position.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate sales in accordance with Original Penguin customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base by capturing data for the PE Loyalty Program.
Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
Maintain floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
Stay productive throughout the shift by replenishing products, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers during idle time.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
