About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Original Penguin merchandise by executing the brand’s customer service standards. Duties include greeting customers, helping them find products or explaining how to use them, and processing purchases on the POS register. This is a seasonal, part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
• Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with Original Penguin customer service standards.
• Build a repeat customer base through effective PE Loyalty Program data capture.
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
• Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
• Maintain effective floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
• Stay productive throughout the shift by using idle time to replenish products, maintain visual displays, and engage with customers.
• Report to work on time and demonstrate schedule flexibility.
• Understand individual and store sales goals.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
