About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Original Penguin merchandise by executing the brand’s customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers, helping them find products or understand how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. The associate supports sales goals, customer loyalty, store presentation, and daily operations while providing a positive and consistent store experience.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate sales in accordance with Original Penguin customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base through effective PE Loyalty Program data capture.
Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
Maintain floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customer needs over assigned tasks.
Remain productive throughout the shift, using idle time to replenish products, maintain visual displays, and engage with customers.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
