About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven Part-Time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience. The associate assists customers with product selection and styling, supports store sales goals, and contributes to an inclusive and supportive store environment.

The role also supports visual merchandising, floor sets, and store operations, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization. The associate may perform other duties as assigned to support store success.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, maneuvering around the store, handling merchandise, climbing ladders, operating POS registers and company mobile devices, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds; joint or team lifting may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful customer connections through personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find products and provide a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in store operations, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns in a friendly, solution-oriented manner.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help the store succeed.
