About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates Express and Bonobos. Express is a multichannel apparel brand offering modern, confident, and effortless styles through retail and outlet stores, its website, and mobile app. The Sales Associate provides customers with a great in-store shopping experience and supports store operations by stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and completing other tasks as directed by a supervisor.

The role includes maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and inviting sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stock room; following company safety policies and procedures; and assisting with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. Associates deliver the customer experience model, process transactions accurately and efficiently, resolve or escalate customer-service issues and communicate their resolution to Store Management, and promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits to customers.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
• Customer-service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer-service issues when possible, or escalate them, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks as directed by a supervisor.
