Sales Associate
About The Position
As a Sales Associate at Carter’s, you will represent the brand and assist growing families throughout their shopping experience. You will welcome customers, help them find products and understand product styles, features, and benefits, and support a positive experience in a busy retail environment. The role includes customer service, resolving issues, supporting omnichannel shopping, processing sales, replenishing merchandise, handling shipments, and communicating promotional events and the brand loyalty program. You will also help maintain a safe, clean store and minimize loss through exceptional customer service. Requirements

- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
- Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
- Proactively resolve customer issues and manage multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
- Assist with omnichannel shopping as needed to help ensure a positive customer experience.
- Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
- Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
- Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
- Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
