About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate supports store sales and customer relationships by providing strong customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role includes daily store functions such as product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Key priorities are customer service, sales, and teamwork. The associate helps customers select merchandise, supports shipment and replenishment activities, follows visual standards and company policies, and helps keep the sales floor neat and organized.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and perform accurate inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs are represented according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
