About The Position

The Sales Associate supports the smooth operation of the retail store by stocking inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, providing customer service, and handling financial transactions. The role also involves following store procedures for sales and cash control, complying with the company uniform policy, and remaining active throughout the shift to assist customers and maintain the store’s image. Duties may be assigned or reassigned by management and must comply with applicable regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, and ERISA.

Requirements

• Ability to actively listen, take initiative, multitask, prioritize, manage time, and demonstrate operational excellence and ongoing value.
• Ability to lift, stand, and remain active for the duration of a shift, moving frequently around the store.
• Must have a form of communication through which the employee can be reached.
• Understand procedures for operating a cash register and handling SNAP purchases, cash control, safe drops, lottery and lotto tickets, beer and wine, tobacco, and money orders.
• Must have completed a certified alcohol sellers' training program.
