About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships through effective customer service and selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Key aspects of the position are customer service, sales, and teamwork. The associate helps customers select appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and replenishment, follows visual standards, and helps keep the store organized and orderly. Previous retail or customer-service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred, but experience is not necessary. The position requires strong English communication, basic fashion and trend knowledge, customer-service skills, flexibility, and the ability to perform physical store tasks. The listed pay range is $15.92 per hour, and the role is eligible for the company 401(k) plan.

Requirements

Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer-service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Display basic fashion and trend knowledge and meet customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
