About The Position

Talbots is hiring a Sales Associate for its Woodland Hills Mall store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The associate provides exceptional customer service, promotes products, builds brand relationships, and supports the management team in growing store business. The role involves serving multiple customers, using fashion and product knowledge to recommend outfits, and achieving sales and service metrics. Associates also support store operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, recovery, replenishment, and re-ticketing. The position may include leading or supervising others, as well as opening or closing the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Serve multiple customers at a time, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and learn about new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and recommend items suited to customers’ needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships that support a productive work environment.
• Communicate store information, brand initiatives, discrepancies, and other pertinent information to management.
• Achieve sales and service metrics, including Talbots Classic Awards.
• Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize performance.
• Support operational excellence, including managing inventory, filling orders, recalls, recovery, replenishment, and re-ticketing.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
• Lead or supervise others on occasion and open or close the store for business.
• Understand customer needs and wants through intentional conversation.
