About The Position

Planet 13 Florida is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to join its West Palm Beach South team. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service through education, awareness, and solutions for customers. The associate helps customers understand products and makes recommendations consistent with their physician’s recommendations, verifies eligibility, and dispenses medical cannabis products in accordance with Florida’s Medical Marijuana Use Registry requirements. Training is provided; prior medical marijuana or dispensary experience is not required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of prior customer-service experience involving direct patient or customer interaction.
Must be 21 years or older.
Ability to pass drug testing and a Level 2 Florida State background check.

Nice To Haves

Customer-service experience in specialty retail, hospitality, or health and wellness.

Responsibilities

Greet, assist, and provide information and necessary services to customers.
Verify customer identification and medical cannabis card status.
Discuss products and make appropriate recommendations based on each customer’s physician’s recommendation.
Access and properly use the state’s Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) when dispensing products.
Dispense medication and collect payment through a POS register or upon delivery using approved payment methods, including cash, debit, or credit.
Maintain online pickup orders.
