About The Position

Planet 13 is hiring a full-time Sales Associate in Bradenton, Florida. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service through education, awareness, and solutions for customers. The position includes assisting customers, verifying identification and medical cannabis card status, dispensing medication and processing payment, maintaining online pickup orders, and supporting sales and marketing efforts. The Sales Associate also works with the Dispensary Manager to identify, plan, and coordinate dispensary events. Training is provided, and prior medical marijuana or dispensary experience is not required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of customer-service-related experience involving direct patient or customer interaction.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to pass drug testing and a Level 2 Florida State background check.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience in specialty retail, hospitality, or health and wellness.
Prior medical marijuana or dispensary experience is not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Greet, assist, and provide information and necessary services to customers.
Verify customer identification and cannabis card status.
Dispense medication and collect payment through a POS register or upon delivery using approved payment methods.
Maintain online pickup orders.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships by assessing needs and providing accurate information in a timely manner.
Work with the Dispensary Manager to identify opportunities for dispensary events.
Plan and coordinate events, including communications, logistics, marketing, and organizing necessary information and materials.
Support company marketing and sales efforts to help meet sales goals.
