About The Position

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet customers.
Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and store management.
Know the basic store layout, assist customers in selecting products, and answer questions about the store.
Effectively operate a cash register.
Follow company policies, cash-handling policies, and store loss-prevention procedures.
Communicate pricing, out-of-date product, and inventory issues to management.
Protect company assets and stock merchandise in stores and backrooms.
Isolate, sort, and organize damaged or outdated products and returns, and inform management of out-of-stock situations.
Help maintain a neat, clean, and organized store, including sweeping, dusting, straightening merchandise, and removing trash.
Place stock orders, receive freight, and load and unload trucks.
Provide ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor.
Assist with inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances.
Perform related work as assigned.
