About The Position

The Stock Associate supports stockroom and store operations at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The role includes general stock duties such as picking and ordering merchandise, pricing products, receiving and replenishing stock, and loading and unloading trucks. The Stock Associate helps protect company assets, maintain a safe and clean stock area, and support inventory accuracy. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility and open availability to work any shift and any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Ability to work in environments exposed to hot and cold elements.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Previous stockroom or warehouse experience.
Flexibility and open availability to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Protect company assets in the stock area, including non-stock merchandise.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for stock personnel.
Place stock orders as required.
Count and receive incoming merchandise and report shortages or overages to management before required deadlines.
Count merchandise returns and complete the appropriate paperwork for vendors.
Receive freight and load and unload trucks.
Replenish stock on the sales floor.
Isolate, sort, and organize damaged and outdated products for supplier credits and returns.
Organize merchandise for annual inventory.
Assist with inventory and reconcile inventory variances.
Notify management of out-of-stock merchandise.
Assist with stocking stores and backrooms.
Assist with trash removal and recycling.
