About The Position
As a Stock Associate, you support the lifecycle of customers’ purchases by handling furniture in the stockroom and showroom, assisting customers with loading purchases into their vehicles, and maintaining clean, organized areas to support a positive shopping experience. The role requires following safety practices, communicating professionally, working independently and with a team, and routinely handling heavy furniture. The schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes weighing up to and in excess of 200 pounds.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Offload and load trailers of furniture for assembly, arrangement, and display on the showroom floor.
- Help customers load their purchases into their vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom and sales floor.
- Follow safety practices, promote safety awareness, and maintain a neat and safe work environment.
