Stock Associate
About The Position
NetCost Market is seeking a Stock Associate to join its Stock Team. The role supports store inventory and merchandise presentation while providing friendly, professional customer service consistent with NetCost Market’s standards. The Stock Associate checks product quality and condition, maintains inventory records, helps ensure incoming shipments are accurate and in excellent condition, organizes stock, and builds displays. The role also contributes to customer satisfaction by assisting shoppers, responding to requests and concerns, maintaining clean work areas, and following food safety standards and managerial instructions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be able to read, write, and perform simple math problems.
- Be able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions and solve problems.
- Be able to work well with others as a team member.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Proactively assist customers in accordance with Customer Service Standards.
- Perform annual full-scale inventory assessments to identify missing inventory and items to be ordered.
- Assist customers who need help while setting up displays or elsewhere in the front of the store.
- Use rolling ladders to retrieve items from hard-to-reach stockroom shelves.
- Accurately maintain the company database for stock and inventory items.
- Build new store displays for special merchandise.
- Organize and sort items on shelving, bins, and displays according to company standards.
- Monitor and report missing or lost inventory to management.
- Verify incoming shipments by comparing invoices with orders and ensure inventory is in excellent condition.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Maintain food safety standards.
- Follow instructions from managerial staff.
- Serve customers quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly.
- Respond resourcefully to customer requests and concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service and help ensure customers have an outstanding shopping experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
