About The Position

The Sales Associate works at Vancouver International Airport, providing customer service and assisting with store operations and stock duties. The role includes helping customers find products, operating the cash register, maintaining merchandise and inventory, receiving and moving freight, and keeping the store clean and organized. The position requires flexibility to work any shift and any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet customers.
Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and store management.
Know the basic store layout, assist customers with product selection, and answer questions about the store.
Effectively operate a cash register.
Follow company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures.
Communicate pricing, out-of-date product, and inventory issues to management.
Protect company assets and stock merchandise in stores and backrooms.
Isolate, sort, and organize damaged and outdated products and returns, and inform management of out-of-stock situations.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized store, including sweeping, dusting, straightening merchandise, and removing trash.
Place stock orders, receive freight, and load and unload trucks.
Replenish stock on the sales floor.
Assist with inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances.
Perform related work as assigned.
