About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends. The role executes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributes positively to the store team by consistently providing an exceptional customer experience. Associates support sales and operational goals, maintain store standards, and help deliver the Pacsun brand experience.

Requirements

Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week.
Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations in compliance with policies and procedures, attempt to resolve issues, and partner with leadership on escalated matters.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Support organization and cleanliness standards to promote a safe working and shopping environment.
Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, Employee Policy Guide, Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies.
Communicate Loss Prevention violations to leadership or through the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with leadership to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events.
Stay current on financial goals and priorities and support leadership in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS.
Represent the Pacsun brand through enthusiasm for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Contribute to a positive working environment by exhibiting core value behaviors.
Adhere to Employee Appearance Guidelines.
