About The Position
The Black Friday Weekend Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends. The associate carries out tasks and initiatives assigned by the leadership team, contributes positively to the store team, and consistently provides an exceptional customer experience. This is a part-time position, and availability to work Black Friday Weekend is required.
Requirements
- Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
- Ability to work Black Friday Weekend.
- Ability to meet the described physical demands, including lifting, sitting or standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and moving around store areas.
Responsibilities
- Represent the PacSun brand by showing passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
- Contribute to a positive work environment and follow Employee Appearance Guidelines.
- Learn about products, brands, fashion, and trends, and work to improve individual performance as a productive team member.
- Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
- Focus on selling while remaining aware of product value and promotions.
- Handle customer situations according to policies and procedures, seek solutions, and involve leadership with escalated issues.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards as directed by management.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness to promote a safe working and shopping environment.
- Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, the Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies; report violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
- Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
- Participate in company and store contests and events, and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
- Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
- Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
- Work Black Friday Weekend.
- Lift and move merchandise or other items as required, including frequently lifting up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 35 pounds.
- Sit or stand for long periods, climb ladders as needed, and maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
