About The Position

Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a Sales Associate for its Ala Moana boutique. The role focuses on achieving sales goals, balancing daily business with High Jewelry sales, and developing a network of loyal clients in a luxury retail environment. The associate provides exceptional service, builds lasting client relationships, and supports boutique clienteling and CRM initiatives. The position reports to the Boutique Manager and includes maintaining the boutique’s visual presentation, attending community social functions, and traveling as required. The Maison provides training on its history, know-how, and creations, and emphasizes employee career development. Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment in the USA. Salary is negotiated based on skills and prior work experience; the stated hourly rate is $24.04, with an additional commission structure.

Requirements

Strong ability to develop long-lasting client relationships in a fast-paced luxury environment.
Natural curiosity about people and a strong desire to provide excellent service.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor’s degree or jewelry certification.
Seven years of experience.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales goals by providing exceptional service.
Balance daily business with High Jewelry sales and develop a network of loyal clients.
Attend social functions within the community to generate new business.
Invite current and prospective clients to in-boutique events and reach out using curated clienteling tools.
Oversee CRM initiatives, including client data capture and accuracy, communications about novelties and events, gifting campaigns, and clientele reporting.
Assist with display setup each morning and display breakdown in the evening, and maintain the aesthetic quality of the boutique.
Travel as required.
