About The Position
The Sales Associate supports the store’s day-to-day operations by engaging customers, maintaining store functionality, and following merchandising standards. The role focuses on creating a warm and inviting shopping experience through authentic, compelling customer interactions. Sales Associates prioritize customer needs and promote loyalty to the Lee and Wrangler brands and the store. The position includes customer service and sales-floor support, fitting-room assistance, product recommendations, following company policies and safety procedures, and complying with visual merchandising directions. Team members are also expected to contribute to a respectful, inclusive store culture, share ideas and best practices, and look for ways to make the store more sustainable.
Requirements
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to operate office equipment and technology such as cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to walk and move around to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
- Ability to lift or maneuver up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to push and pull full racks of merchandise.
- Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Ability to perform occasional manual labor to assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
- Vision to read labels accurately, assist customers, and perform detail-oriented tasks.
- Fine manipulation and grasping ability to sort and organize clothing.

- Previous retail or service-oriented experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Wear and represent Lee and Wrangler products at work.
- Greet customers and initiate conversations on the sales floor using open-ended questions.
- Assist customers in fitting rooms and recommend products that meet their needs.
- Follow company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
- Respond quickly to customer or associate injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
- Follow directions regarding the store’s visual merchandising standards.
- Respect others’ backgrounds, experiences, and differences while upholding Kontoor Brands’ values.
- Contribute to an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning by sharing ideas and best practices.
- Look for ways to make the store more sustainable and recognize its environmental impact.
- Embrace the store culture and make changes as directed by management.
- Operate store office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
- Assist customers, retrieve merchandise, recover the store, restock merchandise, and maintain cleanliness.
- Push or pull full merchandise racks, help assemble displays, and occasionally rearrange the store layout.
- Sort and organize clothing, including placing items on hangers and folding and arranging them by color or size.
