About The Position

The Sales Associate - Firearms is responsible for maintaining firearm counter sales and customer service, along with floor and counter sales of other hunting merchandise. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by greeting customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction.

The associate assists customers with purchasing decisions by identifying their needs and recommending products, promotes programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup, and ensures Form 4473 paperwork is completed accurately. The role also includes demonstrating products, maintaining and replenishing merchandise, staying informed about products and advertised sales, supporting seasonal floor moves, and keeping the work area clean, organized, and stocked. Duties are performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment and recommendations for improving work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition products.
• Knowledge of ATF federal and state regulations.
• Knowledge of firearm and ammunition customer service and sales, including GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
