About The Position

The Sales Outfitter - Firearms maintains counter sales and customer service for firearms, along with floor and counter sales of other hunting merchandise. The role supports a welcoming, productive shopping experience by greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction. The associate helps customers make purchasing decisions, maintains firearms merchandise and displays, and stays informed about products, promotions, pricing, and company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition.
• Knowledge of ATF federal and state regulations.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition customer service and sales.
• Knowledge of GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide a pleasant and productive shopping experience and world-class customer service.
• Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Ensure Form 4473 is completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain merchandise for sales at the gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
