About The Position

Talbots is hiring a Sales Associate for its San Marcos, Texas store. The role provides customer service, promotes products, builds relationships with customers, and supports store business and operations. Associates use fashion and product knowledge to help customers select outfits, meet sales and service goals, and complete projects such as filling orders, replenishment, and recovery. The position is regular, part-time, with an expected availability of 15 to 20 hours per week, including flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
Assist the management team in building store business.
Use service enhancers, including Concierge, to build strong customer relationships.
Serve multiple customers and handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Stay aware of fashion trends and learn about new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion details.
Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and recommend items suited to customers’ needs.
Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize individual performance.
Achieve sales and service metrics, including clientelling and outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
Complete assigned projects and operational tasks, including filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
