About The Position

The Seasonal Stock role receives shipments and accurately maintains inventory records while maintaining stockroom and off-site locations. The associate assists the sales team with replenishing the sales floor after shipments or during recovery periods. The position also includes organizing and maintaining merchandise, preparing customer deliveries, and completing assigned store tasks while following company policies and stockroom procedures.

• Ability to operate a POS system.
• For full-time associates, open availability to meet business needs is expected.
• Part-time flex associates must be available for at least two regularly scheduled weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and two shifts during the week (Monday through Thursday). Weekend availability must be on two separate days. Associates seeking 20 or more weekly hours need greater availability to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Scan shipments as delivered.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stockroom or prepare it for immediate distribution to the sales floor.
• Provide the supervisor with feedback regarding inventory levels and damages.
• Organize the stockroom by department and category, and place merchandise on appropriate shelves or in off-site locations.
• Adjust stocking procedures to keep aisles and exits clear.
• Ensure merchandise is safely stored, properly ticketed, packaged, logged, and easy to locate for replenishment.
• Pack and log merchandise as required for customer deliveries.
• Transport merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep the stockroom clean, swept, and free of garbage, and keep supplies organized.
• Assist on the sales floor during peak times or as assigned.
• Complete tasks on the daily agenda or as assigned, including store maintenance, lighting, and cleaning.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Follow stockroom procedures to minimize company loss.
