The Sales Associate promotes and sells merchandise displayed on the showroom floor. This role involves working directly with internal and external customers, following up on customer orders and inquiries, and assisting with any problems related to merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations. The Sales Associate will also work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met. Key responsibilities include asking customers questions to understand their needs, explaining product features and benefits, preparing sales tickets, assisting customers with product selections, and recommending merchandise. Staying educated on new products, policies, and advertisements is crucial. The role requires knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products, along with excellent customer relations and follow-up via email and phone. Any other duties as directed by management will also be performed.
