About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by showing passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends, and by providing customers with a positive, authentic experience. The associate completes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributes as a positive member of the store team. The role is part-time and requires availability for 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Requirements

Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around sales-floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while staying aware of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations according to policy and procedures, try to resolve issues, and involve leadership when matters are escalated.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Support store organization and cleanliness to promote a safe working and shopping environment.
Follow company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program.
Follow Loss Prevention policies and report violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with leadership to help improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events, stay current on financial goals, and support sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
Represent the PacSun brand and contribute to a positive working environment by demonstrating its core values.
Maintain the company's fashion image by following Employee Appearance Guidelines.
