About The Position

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. The role may include greeting customers, cashier responsibilities, answering product-related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other duties assigned by the manager. Candidates must be at least 21 years old to meet federal regulations regarding firearm sales and must have strong knowledge of firearms and firearm sales. The position works morning/day weekday shifts, Friday evenings, and every other weekend. The pay range is $14.00–$16.00, depending on experience. The work takes place in a retail store environment, including cold and warm conditions, with an irregular work schedule. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age to meet federal regulations for firearm sales.
Strong knowledge of firearms and firearm sales.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand for long periods.
Able to bend and twist frequently.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Assist with cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
Handle cash accurately.
Handle customer returns.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
