Sales Associate (Full Time) - Sporting Goods/Firearms - Williston, ND
About The Position
The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, cashiering, answering product-related questions, assembling products, and performing general housekeeping and other tasks assigned by the manager. Candidates must be able to meet federal regulations related to firearm sales and have strong knowledge of firearms and firearm sales. The position is based in a retail store environment that may include cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. The role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Reasonable accommodations may be considered for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Greet customers in the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
- Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
- Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
