About The Position

HUGO BOSS is seeking a Sales Associate for its Saks Shop in New York. The role represents HUGO BOSS to customers by delivering an exceptional shopping experience, presenting merchandise, and carrying out operational strategies that support positive operating profits. The Sales Associate works to build customer relationships and a client base while contributing to sales, store presentation, and daily operations. The position offers base pay plus commission, earned vacation and sick time, health, dental, and vision care, a 401(k), and an employee discount. The stated expected base pay rate is $17 per hour.

Requirements

Two to three years of specialty retail sales experience.
Strong customer service and selling experience.
Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, with communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.

A BS college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers, the merchant group, and others while resolving problems.
Drive personal sales through relationship selling, building a client base, and providing exemplary customer service.
Maintain knowledge of products, product lines, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers.
Assist with merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
Follow and execute company policies, procedures, and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
