About The Position

The Sales Associate is a part-time role responsible for store sales activities, facilitating purchases, and providing customer service. The position also helps maintain a visually engaging store environment by receiving and placing shipments, resetting features and promotions, and completing housekeeping tasks. The work is performed in a retail store environment and may involve working weekends and evenings as needed.

Requirements

No retail experience is necessary.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 months of retail experience.
Knowledge of retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer entering the store.
Execute the Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity.
Offer current promotions and special offers.
Operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
Provide comprehensive service using calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders.
Maintain a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards, engages customers, and encourages purchases.
Receive and place new shipments.
Reset features and promotions as directed.
Complete regular housekeeping tasks.
