About The Position

LoveShackFancy is hiring a seasonal, part-time Sales Associate for its Madison Avenue location in New York City. The role focuses on delivering courteous, knowledgeable customer service; helping clients select and style merchandise; maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms; supporting store operations; and assisting with in-store and off-site events. Responsibilities may be amended, and the job description may not include every assigned duty.

Responsibilities

Greet and acknowledge customers and provide courteous, knowledgeable service.
Style clients by recommending appropriate merchandise and sizes, retrieving items from the stockroom, maintaining fitting rooms, suggesting additional purchases, and ordering items online when they are unavailable in-store.
Return unwanted fitting-room merchandise to the sales floor and ensure merchandise is put back after transactions.
Send follow-up communications to clients, including purchase thank-yous and new-product outreach.
Maintain visual merchandising standards by folding, straightening, replenishing, and correctly placing merchandise throughout the day.
Ensure merchandise, styles, and sizes are represented on the sales floor.
Assist with stock duties, including shipments, markdowns, and transfers, as needed.
Follow POS procedures when processing sales, including capturing client information for every transaction.
Keep the cash wrap neat, organized, and supplied with daily necessities.
Answer the phone and assist clients with their needs.
Assist with the setup, breakdown, and organization of in-store and off-site events.
