About The Position

Talbots is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its Wellesley store. The associate provides exceptional customer service, promotes products, builds customer relationships, and supports store business and operations. The role requires fashion and styling knowledge, strong sales and service performance, and the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced team environment. The position is regularly scheduled for 15 to 20 hours per week, with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
• Availability for 15 to 20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
• Assist the management team in building store business.
• Use service enhancers, including Concierge, to build strong customer relationships.
• Serve multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed about fashion trends and new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion details.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and recommend items that meet customers’ needs.
• Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize performance.
• Achieve sales and service metrics, including clientelling and outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Complete assigned projects and operational work, including filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
