About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise and assists customers with floor merchandise. The role includes greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction. The Sales Outfitter supports a productive shopping experience by assessing customer needs, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup. The role also includes demonstrating products, maintaining and replenishing merchandise, staying current on product knowledge and advertised sales, and keeping the work area clean and stocked. The position works under general supervision and follows company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.
• Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including standing or walking throughout the shift and moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly; heavier objects may occasionally be moved or lifted with team assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handle merchandise with care, and provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and make product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize, maintain, and replenish merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of products through ongoing training and stay informed about advertised sales, pricing, and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
