About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms hunting and archery merchandise. The role involves assisting customers with floor merchandise, greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction.

The Sales Outfitter helps customers make buying decisions by identifying their needs, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup. The role also involves demonstrating products, organizing and maintaining merchandise, replenishing shelves, keeping current with product knowledge and advertised sales, maintaining pricing and signage, assisting with seasonal merchandise moves, and keeping the work area clean and stocked. The position follows company policies and procedures, performs other duties as assigned, and works under general supervision using established procedures with occasional independent judgment.

This is a part-time position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in retail.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms hunting and archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter sales and customer service for non-firearms hunting and archery merchandise.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner; handle merchandise with care and provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products based on those needs.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain hunting and archery merchandise in the retail store.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
