About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise and assists customers with floor merchandise. The role supports a pleasant, productive shopping experience by greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction.

The associate learns about products and demonstrates them to customers, makes recommendations based on customer needs, promotes programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup, and helps maintain merchandise presentation, stock, pricing, and signage. The position works under general supervision and uses established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Support a high standard of customer service and provide a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and make product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise in the retail store and at the gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
