About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms hunting and archery merchandise. The role supports customer sales on the Hunting/Archery floor by greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction.

The position focuses on creating a pleasant and productive shopping experience, helping customers make buying decisions, demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, replenishing shelves, and staying informed about products and advertised sales. The employee works under general supervision and uses established procedures and occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and provide a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Develop the ability to demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise in the retail store and at the gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
