About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting and Archery merchandise. The role supports floor sales by greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The position promotes a pleasant and productive shopping experience, helps customers make purchasing decisions, demonstrates products, and maintains merchandise and the sales area. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA knowledge.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and support a productive shopping experience.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and recommend products based on that assessment.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise for sales at the gun counter.
• Replenish merchandise on shelves in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
