About The Position
The Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) joins the LEGO Brand Retail team at Castleton Mall in Indianapolis, Indiana, providing inspirational guest experiences in an interactive and vibrant store environment. The role focuses on welcoming guests, delivering engaging customer service, processing purchases, and creating a clean, safe, visually stimulating store. Associates also assist with merchandise receiving and stockroom operations while following LEGO Brand Retail standards and safety regulations. The position is part-time and requires availability for up to 25 hours per week across at least three days, including at least one weekend day; being scheduled for 25 hours is not required.
Requirements
- Availability for up to 25 hours per week, spanning at least three days and including at least one weekend day.
- Ability to work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business needs require.
- Ability to access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.
- Ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
- Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
- Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional, gracious, and engaging service.
- Perform cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
- Resolve customer issues and report challenging situations to a manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating store by completing daily cleaning duties and maintaining displays.
- Learn and deliver LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
- Assist with receiving merchandise and safely and efficiently operate and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
- Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Use promotional materials and loyalty programs.
- Support an active, hands-on in-store experience that encourages imagination and creativity through play.
