About The Position
Join the LEGO Brand Retail team as a seasonal, part-time Brick Specialist in a vibrant, interactive store. The role focuses on creating inspirational retail experiences for LEGO fans of all ages through friendly guest interactions, register transactions, store presentation, and stockroom support. Tasks are assigned by the floor leader on duty. The position may become a regular role for excellent performers. The role supports LEGO Brand values and the company’s commitment to imagination, creativity, inclusive play, and children’s rights. Candidates offered roles involving high engagement with children must complete Child Safeguarding Background Screening. The LEGO Group conducts drug screening as part of its drug-free workplace policy. The hourly wage range is $17.25–$18.75, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to process information and merchandise through the register system.
- Ability to work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing; and lifting at least 30 pounds.
- Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional, gracious, and engaging interactions to create a signature store experience.
- Perform all cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
- Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating store environment.
- Maintain store displays and learn and execute LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
- Assist with receiving merchandise and safely and efficiently operate and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
- Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
