About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for sales and support positions across Women's Apparel, Lingerie, Accessories, Men's Apparel, Shoes, and Logistics Stock & Fulfillment. Applicants may attend the hiring event at the Mayfair store on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; no advance appointment is needed. Interviews take approximately one hour, and on-the-spot offers will be made for most roles. A resume is welcome but not required. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and applicants who cannot attend the event may still be considered. Pay depends on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Listed rates are $13.35 for Sales, $16.60–$17.30 for Stock, Fulfillment and Delivery, and Customer Service. Commission for many selling employees varies by merchandise: apparel, shoes, and accessories typically range from 3% to 14.5%, while Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive 3%. The posting notes that the position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. The role requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and handling merchandise to assist customers. Employees frequently use their hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling; handle bulky or awkward items, including reaching overhead to lift them; regularly lift up to 10 pounds; and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Requirements

Able to remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift.
Able to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach.
Able to frequently grasp and finely manipulate items, and push and pull.
Able to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Able to reach above the head to handle and lift merchandise.
