About The Position

Hertz is seeking a customer-focused and energetic Sales & Service Specialist (TNC) for its Hertz Local Edition team. The specialist serves as a resource for Lyft and Uber drivers, supporting them through the vehicle rental process and providing rental assistance from pickup through post-rental needs. The role combines customer service, sales support, and operational duties to deliver a fast, efficient, and professional experience while contributing to location performance goals.

The position involves creating reservations, processing rentals, preparing vehicles for pickup, answering questions about rental programs and policies, and addressing customer needs such as extensions, billing inquiries, and roadside assistance questions. The specialist also helps ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for rental by inspecting them, cleaning interiors and exteriors, and checking fuel and fluid levels.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the rental process to deliver an exceptional rental experience.
• Create reservations, process vehicle rentals, and prepare vehicles for customer pickup.
• Help customers with rental extensions, billing inquiries, roadside assistance questions, and other post-rental needs.
• Answer incoming calls and provide information about Hertz Lyft and Uber Rental Car Programs, rental requirements, and program policies.
• Clearly explain rental program details, procedures, and vehicle eligibility requirements.
• Recommend relevant products and services to help maximize revenue and meet customer needs.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused environment in a fast-paced setting.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and ensure they are clean, safe, and rental-ready.
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, check fuel and fluid levels, and prepare vehicles for delivery.
• Assist with administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
