About The Position

The Sales Advisor provides excellent customer service by welcoming and guiding customers through the store and available OMNI experiences, actively selling products, and offering relevant fashion and product information. The role supports garment care and replenishment, merchandise presentation, and a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working with the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

The position also supports sales and profit goals, customer loyalty and in-store sustainability initiatives, store operations, and the effective use of in-store services and technology. Sales Advisors follow store procedures, health and safety guidelines, and applicable legal requirements while contributing to their own development and that of colleagues.

Requirements

• Sales experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
• Experience in customer service in fashion, retail, or another service-related industry.
• Passion for fashion and in-store products.
• Motivation to provide customers with a great experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and guide customers through the store and available OMNI experiences, providing direct customer service.
• Engage customers in conversation and guide them through fashion trends, stories, and products throughout the store.
• Promote and sell products, and actively promote the Hello Member Customer Loyalty App and in-store sustainability initiatives.
• Represent the H&M brand positively in customer interactions and support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets.
• Keep up to date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers, and share relevant product and fashion information with customers.
• Share service, fashion, and store operations knowledge with colleagues; exchange feedback and participate in relevant onboarding, training, and development activities.
• Follow store procedures, routines, health and safety guidelines, and legal requirements.
• Complete garment handling tasks, including unpacking, replenishment, steaming, and garment care.
• Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practices and processes.
• Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor, back of house, and stockrooms.
• Support garment presentation and maintain merchandise displays, trends, and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor through replenishment routines.
• Follow best practices for in-store OMNI services and technology, including the Instore Care App, Click & Collect, and Smart Store.
• Support store opening and closing.
